Prepare to have your heart captured by Coromon. In this love letter to monster-taming games, you’re the newest battle researcher at the illustrious Lux Solis institute, eager to prove your worth. Collect a Nibblegar (a baby shark with a mighty chomp attack) and other cuddly critters as you roam a world packed with quests, secrets and kooky characters.

What we love: Its smart features. We’re huge fans of the adjustable difficulty: turn it down to revive fainted Coromon mid-battle, or crank it up for a steeper challenge. You can even choose which stats to tweak when levelling up your Coromon – such as boosting your Blizzburd’s HP to make it a tougher warrior, or elevating your Sandrill’s speed so it fires off scratch attacks before foes can fight back. Play your way!

Quick tip: For a leg up in battle, tap on an enemy Coromon’s HP bar to learn the beast’s weaknesses and resistances. (Touch and hold the element icons if you’re not sure what they represent.) Then tweak your tactics accordingly!
