Basically, I changed my internet provider to account for the lack of authorisation from the app when purchasing online. New fast internet, yet notifications and approval still not working! Why does nothing work properly in this country! Fix this please! How can I pay bills or buy stuff?! Update: the response was pathetic, “if you experience any problems with any of the above..” what does that mean? It’s just empty phrases! I wouldn’t have written this review if I wasn’t experiencing problems, them “ please let us know using the error reporting feature on the login page”! What! Which login page, on the app or the web page? Where is this feature ? I can’t see it on either! Pathetic OTP! Do something real instead of empty phrases…

The new app has some long awaited gui and feature refresh. Overall nice progress.I’ve found two issues:Addig debit card to ApplePay simply doesn’t work. The app offers it up but fails to do it. I had to use the SmartBank app.Also even worse tablet support than the old SmartBank. That at least uses a full screen in iPad. I think tablet support should be important as it’s way more comfortable for more complex banking tasks.

The new UI is refreshing and its handy that I can see my current and average monthly spending. Although, I feel its unnecessary to cover half of the screen with the gauge chart of the current spending, I prefer the way the average spending is displayed in a single line: its short, sweet, and to the point. My biggest pain point with the new app is that I don't get a notification about card transaction approvals most of the time! And even if I explicitly open the app it takes a couple of minutes for the approval to appear in the transactions / in-progress list. I used to get these notifications instantly, what happened? I'm pretty sure its not a network issue on my end, I can reproduce the same with a strong wifi signal and a mobile internet as well.

Transaction list is regularly unavailable. In another case the answer to the filed complaint says I was not logged in when a transaction failed, then executed 2 times in a row. This is more like a release candidate than a final version of an application. And this did not change in the last six months. Congratulations.Update: simplepay transaction verification fails big time. Seriously, who the heck designed this auth procedure? I need to auth for the payment - but it isn’t enough…, then I need to auth into the app, then find somewhere the pending (why, why is it pending?!) authorization, then auth again IF it’s there. Even then, mostly the first attempt fails utterly, I have to start a payment sequence again.This is a bad joke.
