I’ve been using this app since 2017 and the video produced from this app never fail to amuse my friends and family. I like the fact that I will just be selecting the media that I want and the settings that I envision, then leave it to the app to do its magic. I will sometimes go back and edit the finished video manually, but overall the process of working on a project is delightful and easy; and the output is quite fulfilling.

Subscription without my permission!!!
don't want to give any star
It just subscription itself without my permission! And send me a bill automatically after a free trial week. I have deleted the app at the first day download. So it was a surprise to get the receipt mail from the app which has been debited. I have requested a refund. And didn’t get any response for almost a month!It’s was a terrible experience!

I downloaded the Vimeo Magisto app and paid for the business subscription in order to create a video for an very important application at work. I started to use the app and apart from some basic functionality issues (you can’t edit timing of the scenes, even the fast setting isn’t fast and there is no way to limit the overall time of your video, you can’t save a draft of your video - each time you save it has to process and produce, rendering and playing the saved video - which is irritating if you just want to save changes as you are working) everything seemed to be going okay. The app closed unexpectedly on me a couple of times, so I made sure to save religiously as my changes were lost.Last Friday, I spent the entire day creating and trying to finish my video. At one point I realised that I was literally going round in circles, every time I saved - the video would be a previous version with my new assets missing and with items I had replaced hours before reappearing. I thought I was going insane!I then started to document this, for my sanity but also to report the issue to Magisto. I would screenshot my canvas before saving and then afterwards and the app was adding duplicates of images and deleting others.I sent these to Magisto hoping for help. I had wasted hours trying to combat their bug, which saving wasn’t even helping with! In fact saving seemed to be the problem. I received no help, and to this day I have sent these screenshots twice to customer services and their only suggestion has been a) that I must have ‘unhidden’ old images... that doesn’t explain the duplication or deletion? Plus I didn’t. B) they have droned on about how millions of people love their platform. Customer service is a joke! Anyway, with no solution, and no help fromMagisto i gave up with my 50£ app and went and used iMovie to create my video instead.Waste of money, and not worthy to be charging that kind of money.Funnily enough, I have just seen an update is being pushed for the Magisto app to help fix bugs, yet customer service was not aware of any when I contacted them... funny that.I am applying for a refund, I am thoroughly dissatisfied with my experience if it had been a free app let alone a business edition that I paid a ridiculous amount of money for!
