I’m using Capcut for the last 7 months professionally. I came from using Premiere and Capcut is one of most complete editing software to create Sosial media videos. I have the pro edition and in every video I create I use at least 2-3 pro features. I’m very pleased with Capcut.The only downside is that I see a couple of differences in Mac and Windows edition. Also there are different things in the App version.
If only you could extract every edit without pro or standard

This app is amazing but the only disadvantage of it is the standard and pro. Since you can make such wonderful things with CapCut why not to be able to extract them or share them with others ? I believe being unable to save an edit in your phone is a big reason why so many creators decide to change to a more “professional” app because they believe that it is not worth the money to buy the pro. Meanwhile with the same money they can buy a more “professional “ video editor.I believe for the average level of non paid creators, CapCut is more than enough to create whatever passes by their mind. Although since they can do nothing with it they decide to quit. And that is logical because they cannot even share it with friends or relatives. I personally am never going to pay all that money to get the pro or even the standard. The less you can do I think is to decrease the value of the pro from 119€ per year to 20. And I know this might sound crazy but in my view it is the only way for most of the app users to enjoy CapCut to the max by buying the pro. Also, I believe that no song should be included the pro or standard features, because it is not a tool. Finally noise reduce at least for me is the first thing I am doing to almost every clip of mine and I believe a so basic tool should also be for free.Thanks for your time !I hope you will read those carefully and decide to act like I advised you .

I understand that developers need to make money, but changing free tools into subscription-only features can feel unfair to long-time users who helped support and promote the app. The app is still good, but the increasing focus on monetization has significantly reduced its value for free users.
A Disappointing Shift to Paywalls

But recently, with the introduction of CapCut Pro, the app has taken a frustrating turn.Instead of simply adding extra perks for paying users, CapCut has locked many basic features behind a paywall. Tools that were once free—like certain effects, text options, and export settings—now require a Pro subscription. This makes it incredibly difficult to edit without paying, especially for those of us who have been using it for years without restrictions.I understand that developers need to make money, but CapCut handled this poorly. Instead of offering new premium features, they took away existing free ones, which feels unfair to long-time users. If they had kept the basics free and added new Pro-exclusive tools, the change would have been more acceptable.For those who rely on CapCut for free editing, this is a huge disappointment. If you’re looking for a completely free alternative, it might be time to explore other apps. CapCut is no longer the accessible editor it once was.
