Calling all Disney fans! In this imaginative take on solitaire, you can recreate your favourite scenes from Disney and Pixar movies, old and new. If you’re a fan of card games and The Lion King soundtrack is in heavy rotation on your workout playlist, Disney Solitaire is the title for you.
Why it’s popular
Disney Solitaire brings iconic Disney and Pixar moments to life, complete with cute animations and the toe-tapping music you know and love. You can recreate Belle’s entrance into the ballroom in Beauty and the Beast, Ariel and Sebastian singing “Under the Sea” in The Little Mermaid and more by using the stars you earn in each solitaire level to build the scene.
As you progress through the levels, the challenge – and fun – increases. There are hidden jigsaw pieces to unlock, bonuses to win for long streaks of successful play and optional mini-games that will earn you extra coins to use in the main game. The more you play, the harder it’ll be to decide which half of the game is your favourite: the magical Disney scenes or the engaging card games!
Getting started
Each level presents you with a group of cards. Your job is to clear them from the table by selecting a card that is one rank higher or lower than the active card. There’s a handy undo button, and if you run out of cards in the discard pile, you can spend your coins to add more or to use a Wild card, which can stack with any card and won’t break your streak. Keep tabs on how many coins you’ll need for each option – sometimes Wild cards cost more than a pack of Restock cards, cancelling out any benefits you might earn from your streak.
To speed through levels, focus on freeing up any obstacles – such as revealing face-down cards by removing the cards covering them and unlocking any jigsaw pieces to access the cards underneath. That leaves more time to enjoy your Disney dioramas!

Developer SuperPlay launched in 2019 and has some smash-hit titles to its name. As well as Disney Solitaire, the studio is behind kingdom-builder Dice Dreams and puzzler Domino Dreams, in which you assist an adorable orange mascot, called King Richard, as he embarks on royal adventures. The titles offer modern spins on traditional game types: dice-rolling, dominoes and cards.
