I’m really enjoying this app. We’re completely new to padel, and it’s made booking courts and matches super easy. We play a lot of badminton too, and there’s nothing comparable for that sport.The only thing that would make the app perfect for me is having more filters in the Compete and Learn sections. At the moment, you can’t filter by time of day or ranking, so I end up seeing lots of sessions I can’t attend. It makes it harder to find the ones that are actually relevant.

The frustrating thing about Playtomic, is even though you use it to book competitions and find games – and even though you pay for the booking; it does not guarantee you the booking! We’ve had several clubs cancel our booking even when we’ve had the booking for a few days. It’s difficult to make arrangements based around an app that doesn’t guarantee the booking! This element needs to be sorted – hopefully with The huge amounts of money they’ve raised on crowd funding recently they can iron out the faults.

Lost profile, lost customer service

This was a great App until it went wrong! Essentially, whilst putting in scores over a coffee with my fellow players, my profile disappeared … at least for me! My friends could see it still but not me.I told the club and then set about, as advised, contacting Playtomic (there is no number, just an email address) to reinstall my profile (complete with the fee for Premium I have paid). Not a single response to 7 attempts over the last two weeks).Lost ranking, lost Premium fee and lost faith. I enjoy the game so have set up a new profile, but what a waste of time. Glad that I did not buy any shares!

Booking the court

I’ve had to do this a few times now and ask somebody who’s jumped on a court if they would leave. Basically we are a group of four girls. We’ve all grown up together and this is the only time we get to grab time together by play Padel. one person starts off booking the court emails the link so then we’ll jump on and book our spaces but a few times somebody else jumped on and booked one of the available spaces. We know there’s an option to book a private court and then everyone transfers the money to the main booker which in variably people forget to transfer etc, where your method allows us to pay for our own, surely you can do it where a court is booked and for a period of time that court is yours, say 24 hours which allows your group to book their space and no one else can attend or the person who initially books the court can approve who books the remaining spaces rather than it being free for all . If there is another way Could you let me know x
