It isn’t a game I would have ‘picked’ at all but it is quite addictive. Although there are a few puzzles - mostly it is building a castle and training troops to fight monsters and fight other troops. There are daily tasks and various activities which change. Join an alliance to help you grow. If in doubt keep a bubble on your castle to stop your troops from being wiped out. If you do buy any packages take photos of your inventory before, after and throughout the process in case there is a glitch. I have had some variable experiences with customer services - but my last encounter was a more positive experience. Suggestions to the developer - (1) if people have all their troops killed they often leave the game. A special token could be sent to the inventory after e.g. 30 days. When activated by the player the token would recover 1/2 the lost troops plus add a ‘beginners bubble’ again. More people would stay in the game or come back.(2) In server war the Monarch position should be based upon the net points not the positive points. Some people ‘suicide’ on purpose to increase the positive points - but they make the server lose because they have a huge negative score. That is cheating. This really needs to be changed.

The game itself has been created very well and it is good game if it didn’t have all the negatives it had. There are too many negatives with this game such as the bullies. There are narcissistic, and sadistic people that come onto the game, and spend at least £100+ and they love to annoy other people for the sake of it it’s ridiculous. Also, If you don’t pay for the game, it’s incredibly difficult to level up unless you spend your whole life without a single break playing this it’s quite pathetic. If you don’t spend any money you might as well not install it and try another game. Also, if you do spend money (I’ve spent about 4.49 on this) my game crashed and I lost everything and support didn’t do anything to help at all. I would not suggest installing it and you can look at the other 1-2 star reviews which I’ll do a quick summary of.‘’Don’t let you or you’re kids play this’’, ‘’This is full of people that spend >£2000+’’ and ‘’The support didn’t help me at all and only said you’re package has been sent’’ I would highly suggest not downloading this game and if you do spend money you’ll probably not get it, I didn’t and other people haven’t. The levels on this game are quite decent and well made however it’s just the other stuff that I’ve stated ruins the game. It doesn’t matter if the support does reply, they won’t do anything but I would highly suggest not installing this as it’s a waste of time and money.

Don’t be fooled. It requires dedicated daily play and real money to progress. I’ve dedicated 4 years to this game as a f2p - there is no way to compete as a free to play player. Your insignificant vermin - how one’s opinion changes when one has had enough time. Building a city, building an Army and building friendships with those not just in your chosen alliance but eventually, those in your entire server. The developers won’t hear you when you complain of issues. Or when your highly refined and costly gears (or any other thing) mysteriously goes missing from your keep. They eventually buy out your whales and then convince the rest of the alliance members, that the next alliance is the enemy. So they pick a verbal fight in the world chat, usually about monsters, then speed ups then something that turns your nap of 4 years server, into a bubble or burn. Your hard work, your daily play, your dedication and those you thought had become friends, gone. You will lose everything - Don’t bother with customer services they have no knowledge of the game and they’re not interested in anyone. Even those that spend over 1000$’s a week. They can take anything from your account and never give it back. Constantly blame glitches. Worse in competition battlefield. My star rating for this game would have been 5, it is beautiful until it isn’t. It’s hard to stop when the fun stops but I’ve stopped.

Your advertising is terrible. It’s cringe, baseless and doesn’t actually show any real gameplay. You just advertise the mini games and then people are disappointed when they find that the mini games are limited, and you have to unlock them. You need to advertise THE ACTUAL GAMEPLAY and what Evony is about, instead of just showing the mini games. Also, stop scripting your advertisers to talk about the negative reviews in the advert, it’s cringe and just proves the point that you’re insecure developers who can’t take criticism. If I find this review to have been removed, I will report you to apple for violating its rules. Negative reviews ARE ALLOWED. All the other negative reviews pretty much agree with what I’m saying here. It’s full of bullies, the developers don’t care, and the support team are more of a “mocking” team as they aren’t likely to help you. Let me quote the devs replying to another comment; “IAP are optional, and not necessary” then saying “friends give you more power” which everyone else can disagree with because it’s not true, you have to spend a decent bit of money to get anywhere (thankfully I haven’t spent a single penny and never will) so in short, the game isn’t worth it. These devs have a lot in common with TEMU. Oh, and their app-store team just copy and paste “set phrases” to reply to reviews with. So it’s just a copy and paste response that everyone is getting. They keep removing my review, so I’m going to report this to apple.
