A morning cup of latest news from your favorite RSS and Atom feeds, categorized automatically as Trickle, Stream and Link blogs, so you can easily choose what you want to spend your reading time for.
- Nice article view, optimized for feeds with full-size content.
- Does not rely on any feed aggregation services, fetches feeds directly from content providers.
- Each feed has a color associated with it - makes quick skimming through the lists of articles easier.
- Simple to use interface.
- Can import and export subscriptions using OPML files.

I hear there's a new programming language called Swift. Started using it.
Some RSS feeds include story-related images in the enclosures and media tags in the RSS metadata - started using those to present the stories in the lists and in the story view.
Did some performance optimizations.
Went back to hyphenating content manually, but this time using the built-in system frameworks, since they are good enough now.
Thinking about using the enclosures more... More coming soon, this decade hopefully.
1.6 23/11/2024
Some polish, especially for iPads.
1.5.23 21/04/2024
Made some fixes to the way the app restores its state when removed from memory.
Err, I mean, fixes and performance improvements.
1.5.22 23/03/2024
Layout fixes in the story list.
1.5.20 25/08/2023
You'd sometimes wind up with an empty story screen when the app was in the background. No more. The view will be refreshed if this happens.
No fixes or performance improvements other than that. This one is pretty cool.
1.5.19 12/04/2022
- Made some improvements to feed parsing
- Cleaned up the way text hyphenation is done so it actually looks good again after recent iOS updates, and uses much less code, yay
1.5.18 10/04/2022
- Improved app's appearance on the latest iOS version
1.5.17 06/02/2022
- Improved app accessibility. Voice Control in particular is now much better!
- Fixed status bar appearance on iOS 14
- Improved the way article views work
- Realized that I shouldn't keep this amazing update to myself all these months of sitting at home eating tortilla chips, delivering babies, and building 3D printers
1.5.16 15/12/2020
Some color tweaks to dark mode palette.
Sorry for iterating with such granularity. This one should be the last one for a while. I really need to focus on getting the sync done now.
1.5.15 29/11/2019
Improvements to the search screen
1.5.14 28/11/2019
Some more fixes to background feed updating.
Also, the app restores its state in case of being shut down by the system when it needs some extra memory.
1.5.13 21/11/2019
- Use feed's color in story view for links again
- Fixed background feed update scheduling and optimized story image downloading
- Color and font tweaks
1.5.12 16/10/2019
This version takes advantage of the new iOS 13 goodies:
- dark mode
- context menus for feed and story list items
- doesn't download story thumbnails on restricted or expensive connections
Also you can expect some further tweaks to the colors used in the "light" palette.
1.5.11 19/09/2019
Adjusted color palette slightly
Fixed an issue of some stories opening the original automatically
Moved Privacy Policy to feed management screen
1.5.10 13/07/2019
- Built against the latest iOS SDK so you can enjoy the entire screen of your shiny new home-button-less iPad
- Made tweaks to the way the app cleans after itself
1.5.9 15/11/2018
- Fixed scroll position marking in feeds for iPhones from the home-button-less family
- Improved OPML importing
- Improved feed discovery on websites
- Applied some polish to feed adding experience
- Added a privacy policy. It's kind of legal-speak for now, but I'll keep working on it
- Lots of other little things fixed and refreshed under the hood
Kind of excited about this update!
1.5.8 24/10/2018
Some lazily implemented feeds may temporarily come up with duplicate stories after this update, due to a fix of the way the stories are identified in the app, sorry about that. The plus side is that there should be no more resurrected stories that you already read or favorited, just because they happened to point to the same address, and are not identified in any other way in the RSS feed. I'm looking at you, Hacker News.
Added ability to export feeds. You can share the OPML file from the feed management screen.
Moved the Next and Previous story buttons to the top of iPad screen - they're more convenient to use that way.
1.5.7 26/09/2018
Fixed some minor layout issues, like status bar not hiding on small devices, or "Mark Story as favorite" swipe action icon not being laid out properly on those latest and biggest ones.
1.5.6 15/09/2018
Disabled tilt scrolling for iPads. Doesn't make much sense especially in a split mode while running alongside other apps.
Fixed 3D Touch story previews for iPhones, sorry about that.
1.5.5 12/09/2018
You could pull to read next story. Why shouldn't you pull to read the previous one?
Now you can.
1.5.4 30/08/2018
Improved layout on iPhone X.
There should be a lot more stability and sanity when changing to different split modes on iPad.
Added haptic feedback to the pull-to-action elements of the interface, like change favorite state, refresh feeds, read next story etc. (on supporting devices).
Also, background feed updating is a little more optimized, especially for slower feeds, or on slower networks.
1.5.3 29/08/2018
- Improved story screen fonts
- Fixed story indexing for Spotlight Search
Previously:
- Added sensible iPad and iPhone X support
- Moved further towards a consistent color scheme
- Made tweaks to article switching using the bottom screen gesture
- Enabled screen rotation on all devices.
- Turns out, some iPhones have a thing called 3D Touch and it might be useful - who knew!
- The search started in iOS search screen can be continued inside the app (Spotlight Search Continuation).
- By moving to iOS 10 as a minimum requirement (yes, this time for real), I was able remove quite a bunch of code. That is a huge improvement in itself!
- All original article viewing happens in an embedded Safari view, so it's not only faster, but also takes advantage of your content blockers installed.
- Improved removing some unnecessary social icons injected into articles by some RSS/Atom proxy services, ew. We like to be anti-social like that.
- Made subtle improvements to tilt scrolling.
- Grips on feed items on the main screen to perhaps help discover additional feed-related actions.
1.5.2 15/01/2018

- Made tweaks to article switching using the bottom screen gesture
- Improved Spotlight search continuation handling
- Made other minor fixes and improvements across the board
Previously:
- Preliminary iPad support (yeah, it looks terrible on bigger screens, but we'll get there), together with properly responding to split-screen multitasking magic.
- Enabled screen rotation on all devices.
