To celebrate the release of Avatar: The Way of Water on Disney+ and World Oceans Day, join Disney and Avatar in supporting The Nature Conservancy to protect our oceans’ amazing animals and their habitats.

Quick take: From now through 31 July, 2023, for each Avatar-inspired ocean creature designed in the Virtual Pandoran Ocean, Disney U.S. will give $5 to The Nature Conservancy U.S., up to $1 million, to help them achieve their global goal of protecting 10 per cent of the ocean by 2030.

What we love: Customising an otherworldly fish in the Virtual Pandoran Ocean. Choose the ocean depth your creature dwells in, select its diet and species, then dive into the details by picking a style of head, fin, tail, texture and even its bioluminescence pattern. When you’re done, you’ll get a shareable link to follow your fish as it swims around Pandora’s seas.
