Multiple-choice tests have a bad reputation, but Kahoot is a game-changer that puts the fun into teaching and learning countless subjects.
What we love: Kahoot has a vast library of preloaded quizzes for kids and adults (called kahoots) on everything from history and astrophysics to sports and pop culture – created by information titans such as Britannica, Disney, TIME magazine and NASA. Study physics with Bruce Banner–inspired questions in the Marvel section, or answer queries about leadership in a Star Wars™ kahoot.

Quick tip: Use study mode to prep for your Kahoot quiz with flash cards and practice rounds. Want to share a quiz with a friend? Simply create and assign it to see how they do!
Meet the creator: Kahoot was founded by Johan Brand, Jamie Brooker and Morten Versvik, who later teamed up with Åsmund Furuseth and Norwegian University of Science and Technology professor Alf Inge Wang to explore skill development via research-backed game learning strategies. The app was originally designed for classrooms, but it has since been adopted for business trainings, social outings and solo learning.
