I am not only the user of UBER ( all over the Europe) but also its devoted supporter for many years.Somehow the service is getting worse... in many ways:1) accesss restricted areas (like around Charles Bridge) are according to the law accesible for ANY service for residents. Uber drives often do not now exactly that they are allowed to drive to that or that place. They wait at some other place and problems arise (paying for waiting etc.)2) lately more often happens that drivers choose absolutely unreasonable (and much longer) route to the destination - if you are not a driver yourself, you might not notice. But it happens quite often. The app lets you to appeove the payment for the ride before...well, the price can sound reasonable, you need a drive - so you agree. Later you can be only very surprised, why the route chosen was twice longer than it might have been...(I am not talking about the traffic jams and navi using those info...it happened repeatedly during nights with no reason- just a WRONG WAY chosen!I am kind of dissappointed by the “developement” of this service.

I’ve been using Uber for a while, but my experience has been frustrating lately. While the app confirms rides rather quickly, drivers often take ages to arrive, leaving me with no choice but to cancel. This happens despite my high rider rating.Another downside is that Uber doesn’t allow scheduling rides in advance in my area, which is a major inconvenience for planning trips. I find myself turning to other services like Bolt, which are far more reliable in this sense.While Uber has its strengths, such as a user-friendly app and wide availability, the inconsistency in service has been disappointing. I hope they address these issues soon.

I have been using Uber for quite some time, but recently we have been experiencing constant problems with booking a ride. Before confirming the trip, the app shows a much shorter arrival time than it actually takes. Once the ride is booked, the waiting time suddenly becomes significantly longer. In some cases, the driver even starts driving in a completely different direction, which forces us to cancel the ride. When this happens, there is no option to leave a review, which is very frustrating. Unfortunately, this has been happening repeatedly.Recently, we also had a very alarming experience with one of the drivers. He was driving extremely aggressively and far above the speed limit. In a 50 km/h zone, he was driving at least 70–80 km/h. On the Jižní spojka in Prague, he was even driving around 130 km/h. When we asked him if he was aware of the speed limit, he became very aggressive and told us that he could simply drop us off if we did not like his driving.This behavior is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about both safety and reliability. We hope Uber will address these ongoing issues and improve both driver conduct and the accuracy of estimated arrival times.
Dangerous situation and disgraceful customer support

Recently I had an absolutely unacceptable experience with Uber. I ordered a ride from Hakenova 920/3 (Prague 9) to Kateřina 45 (Dolní Podluží) — roughly 80 km (about 50 miles). The driver dropped me off about 15 minutes before the destination, on a road near a roundabout where one exit was partially closed due to construction. The road was still passable, controlled by traffic lights, but the driver assumed it was fully blocked. After several failed attempts to find an alternate route, he told me that he would either drive me back to Prague or leave me there on the road.It was –3 °C, and I had to wait in the cold until my friends could come pick me up. The trip cost almost 1900 CZK (around 100 USD), but Uber refunded only 2 CZK as a “wait time compensation.” After that, support simply ignored my messages, and the ticket was closed by an automated system as “resolved.”This was a cold and extremely unpleasant experience. The worst part was the complete lack of proper support from Uber. If the company cannot ensure safety and basic customer care, using their service becomes genuinely alarming.
