With recent update when you click on website address field in browser a screen keyboard poped up and you were able to type in the address on your phone, which is much more comfortable rather than typing it on TV screen keyboard with remote. Now it was removed and it is pain entering address in browser or in any search field. It was the only reason this app was useful, now it’s not.
The app is buggy despite several updates

Well, if you have Samsung TV so this is probably the only option you have. Despite se seral updates during the year the app is still far behind competition. I use also Apple ang Google home apps but Smartthings is my least favorite. My TV Samsung Frame 65 is nice piece of hardware I really enjoy. Unfortunately the SmartThings app is buggy. Frame TV has Art Mode. You can upload photos of pictures to TV and use it as giant picture frame. It is great! But - not the SmartThings app! I have been suffering from constant problems to upload photos from my iPhone/iPad. I tried really everything possible to fix it pn my side (several TV restarts to factory mode, fixed IP for all devices) but I still have issues. SmartThings can see and manage TV but ArtMode module upload is really buggy. Samsung - please - can you fix it? I am ready to support or test; just let me know.
Getting worse with every update

Downloaded this for my tv about 6-7 months ago and it worked so well I was shocked. With every new update the main remote control feature (where you swipe your finger and control the noise pointer on the screen) is getting progressively more unusable. Not sure what happened in the latest update but now the cursor clicks randomly as I move it around, opening links I didn’t click on (just “ran” over) or starting movies I didn’t select, closing windows I didn’t want to close, REFUSING to close windows I want to close (thanks to the snap feature- when I click X on a site it snaps me to Cancel and when I try to move to Exit, the cursor has already clicked Cancel ☠️).
I have no Idea how to use this

After spending ten minutes trying to figure out how to reduce sound volume on my Samsung TV with the new ‘smart’ remote control, thought It would be easier with the ‘SmartThings’ mobile app. The installation and connection to TV was easy, but then the screen that should allow remote control was completely unfamiliar to anything I have ever seen. Well except the similarity to the new alien remote. I spent long time but I failed to find the volume controls. I only found ‘Bixby’ but I do not need another home AI to spying at my household. I will check TV shop tommorow and if other TVs stil use easy remote with volume bittons, the bye bye Samsung, never see you again.
