Sidetrip is a trip planner built for people who want their itinerary with them, not scattered across notes apps, browser tabs, and group chats.

Once your itinerary is in the app, Sidetrip organises it into parts, days, and stops. Each day shows your stops on a map with a colour-coded route, so you always know where you are in the plan and what comes next. Tap any stop to see its details — address, opening hours, cost, website — and navigate directly from the app.
As you travel, mark stops as in progress, visited, or skipped. The day view tracks how many stops you have completed so you can see your progress at a glance.
Flights, trains, buses, ferries, and car rentals are all supported. Your transportation and accommodation bookings sit in the trip overview, one tap away whenever you need a confirmation number or check-in time.
Add personal notes to any stop, accommodation, or transportation booking. Notes sync across all your devices via iCloud.
Sidetrip includes a ready-made prompt you can paste into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any AI assistant. Plan your trip in conversation with the AI, then import the result with one tap. On supported devices with Apple Intelligence, describe your trip in a sentence and Sidetrip generates a full itinerary entirely on-device, without sending anything to external servers.

Unlimited trips — the free tier includes one trip. Pro removes that limit so you can plan as many past, present, and future adventures as you like.
AI assistant — ask the assistant to rename a day, update a stop description, add a dinner stop, or any other itinerary edit, right inside the trip or day view. Requires Pro.
Trip sharing — share any trip with travel companions via iCloud. Everyone sees the same itinerary and any edits or notes sync in real time. Anyone can accept a shared trip; a Pro subscription is required to create and send one.
