Wackadoo, do we have a fun-filled Bluey adventure for you. In this super-authentic instalment, Bluey’s kingdom is in danger and only the legendary gold pen can save it. But oh no – it’s just been nicked by King Goldie Horns (Dad)! Luckily, zooming, skating and flying through nine levels filled with super-fun puzzles and mini-games will help you claim it back.

What we love: It’s just like playing through an episode of Bluey. Each level is interspersed with warm-hearted mini-episodes of our favourite Heeler family (voiced by the show’s original cast), which reveals the storyline, bit by bit. The character’s hand-drawn art style is also a nod to the TV show’s Escape and Dragon episodes.

Quick tip: Completing each level rewards patience, curiosity and exploration – perfect for young inquisitive minds! If you’re stuck, try moving objects, looking for visual hints such as holes to dig, or alternating through Bluey’s jetpack and glider to find treasures at new heights.

Meet the creator: Bluey’s Quest for The Gold Pen is a collaboration between the show’s original creator Joe Brumm, BBC Studios and the developers of Fruit Ninja, Halfbrick Studios, in partnership with Ludo Studio. Fun fact: Halfbrick CEO Shainiel Deo is a long-time friend and collaborator of Brumm’s. “We’re on the same wavelength. So it’s very easy when we’re riffing on ideas and collaborating, it feels like it just flows,” Deo told the App Store prior to the release of Bluey’s Quest for The Gold Pen.
