Small button, less guesswork. OpenLens 1.9 adds nearby OpenCode server discovery right from the connection screen. Scanning starts only when you tap the radiowaves icon, and the animated waves let you know when OpenLens is looking around your local network.

The project activity heatmap now counts message turns instead of just sessions, so the stats better reflect actual activity in OpenLens.

A little more context, a little less guesswork. • New chats now start with a workspace picker. • Sessions show their workspace, so it’s easier to know where you are. • Slash commands turn into purple chips in the composer, making command prompts harder to mangle and easier to remove.

Tiny update, real chat polish. • Stopping a response now feels cleaner: OpenLens keeps the partial answer and ignores late text from the stopped turn. • You’ll now see clearer chat states for generating, stopping, stopped, and failed responses. • Scroll-to-latest is steadier while a response is active. Less “wait, why did that come back?” energy.

OpenLens got a glow-up: cleaner diffs, tidier sessions, less Settings chaos, and retro chat because productivity deserves drip.
