The International Society of Psychiatric Genetics (ISPG) warmly invites you to attend the World Congress of Psychiatric Genetics (WCPG), October 19–23, 2025, in Cancún, Mexico. These are exciting times in psychiatric genetics—with unprecedented data availability, we are evolving beyond gene-identification toward deeply understanding mechanisms underlying psychiatric disorders, enabling fresh perspectives on psychiatric classification and novel intervention strategies.
The WCPG remains the premier international scientific gathering for psychiatric genetics and allied fields. Leading experts in genetics, neuroscience, and psychiatry from around the world will convene to share cutting-edge discoveries, methodologies, and translational insights.
This year’s WCPG theme is “Dimensions of Translation.” This theme reflects our broad interpretation of translation across clinical, animal model, population, and mechanistic domains. It underscores our commitment to fostering excellence and ensuring that research in psychiatric genetics meaningfully benefits diverse populations worldwide.
