Hello there! I'm here to help you keep track of how your labour is going. I can track contractions and their frequency, take note of things that occur during your labour and take record of the time these events occur - including when your baby is born! Timing the length and frequency of contractions is a very important part of monitoring the progress of your labour; it helps your midwife or obstetrician determine how close you might be to having your baby! I won't tell you what to do or give any advice other than to say that if you have any questions or concerns, talk to your midwife or obstetrician. I'm just an app here to help you remember things that happen during your labour, so that you can share them with your medical professional if they ask. I can also be kept as a record of your labour so if you want to tell your family the story of the day your baby was born, you have all the details right at your fingertips! Please note that all of your data is yours, and yours only. I won’t share anything with anyone, but you can tell me to create a report and if you want to, you can share it. Just in case you have an Apple Watch, I also have a companion app for that too, it’s fully functional and can operate without your phone if you need it to. Data is synchronised between your watch and phone. Remember, you’re in control!
