Meet the creator: Founder Jelte Liebrand came up with the idea while taking part in the Clipper Round the World Race—specifically, during a leg from San Francisco to New York. Spending hours navigating below deck convinced the Dutch sailor that there had to be an easier way. In 2017, he left his role at Google to build Savvy Navvy—making navigation more accessible for skippers around the world.
