Carry your nearest and dearest wherever you go with the Locket Widget, which pins a feed of photos from your friends and family on your Home Screen to remind you of them throughout the day.
What we love: This is an app that relishes in its simplicity. Being on the receiving end of your friends’ snaps is as simple as picking an appropriately sized widget, placing it on your Home Screen, and waiting for snaps to silently arrive. Want to share some of your own? Take a photo in the app and select which of your contacts you’d like it delivered to.

Quick tip: You can keep your shots as they are or adorn them with a series of labels, such as the current weather, time, your location, or a song from a streaming app. There’s also the option of writing a caption of your own if you’d like to get more creative.
Meet the creator: Developer Matt Moss originally built Locket Widget as a way to connect with his girlfriend and ended up using an early version of the app with her for six months before publishing it on the App Store. After it exploded in popularity, Locket Widget was recognized with a Cultural Impact App Store Award in 2022.
