5 Things We Love About My Singing Monsters

Monster mashup

Raise a chorus of quirky characters on fantastical islands in the hit musical game My Singing Monsters. Give them life, feed them, and create musical mash-ups with their euphonic and eclectic sounds. Here are five things we can’t get enough of.

Meeting Weird and Wonderful Monsters

There are more than 300 monsters, all teeming with eccentricity. Among them are Noggin, the rock with oversized hands and feet who beats his own head like a drum; Wubbox, the dub-stepping robot-like creature; and Tring, the beefy crystal-encrusted beast who chimes his nose ring triangle.

Caring for Our Creatures

It’s one thing to collect them, but getting to know your monsters brings new levels of enjoyment. Take the time to read their bios and get to know thier preferences. Did you know that the winged Tweedle loves to gossip? Or that the Mammott likes the Fwog? Try placing one close by to increase the Mammott’s happiness.

Creating Catchy Tunes

It’s strangely gratifying to hear the unique sounds of the monsters (everything from bellowing hums to real instrumentals) come together to make genuinely enjoyable music. We’ve had the Plant Island song stuck in our heads for some time now.

Discovering New Destinations

The 27 different islands each have their own music and aesthetic, from lush greenery to snowy landscapes and everything in between. Mythical Island even allows monsters to teleport from other islands. When you reach a new island, remember to look down: Each one is positioned atop a monster’s head!

Island-Hopping Between Creations

You’ll get inspired when you visit islands designed by other users in the game. Some position their monsters to dance in formation, while others create works of art and messages. Think you’ve created something cool and want to share it outside the game? Go to Options and select the camera to capture your creation.
