Marvel SNAP’s fast and fiery gameplay is spread across more than 50 Locations from the Marvel Universe, with new cards, missions, and challenges landing in the game all the time. Here’s where to get started when you step inside.
Secure Your Strategy
Starting out in a new game can be daunting, but head of S.H.I.E.L.D. Nick Fury will be on hand to show you the way. Your objective is to win two or more Locations across six rounds by obtaining more Power than your opponents—but there is also a special Location that you can win by having less Power, and one that changes the number of rounds you play.
It’s important to get familiar with the card skills of each hero. For instance, Iron Man can double the Power of cards in a Location and instantly turn things in your favour. Arranging your cards in a way that maximizes their Power and deciding how to allocate them to different Locations is a solid strategy.
The Locations that appear in matches are random, and each one has different effects. Some Locations will reduce your deck’s Power, while others will prohibit you from playing cards with a low Energy Cost—foiling your carefully laid battle plans. Want to up the stakes? Snap to bet more of your Cosmic Cubes on the match-up and you’ll stand to win (or lose) even bigger.
Build Impressive Decks
Winning matches not only increases your rank and nets you various rewards, it also enables you to upgrade cards, which increases your Collection Level and in turn unlocks more cards.
