This application has been highly useful to me, it can read various documents, pages, and PDFs. I would not value the other reviews for this application, it was rather buggy in the beginning but they have significantly improved it. A big thanks to 11 labs. Please continue to do what you do and keep this app free for all. If there's anywhere for us to donate please let us know.
Great app and hours

Complaint. ElevenReader Pricing Model – Double Paywall, Misleading Promises, and Removing Basic Feat
Jackcameronb
I’m a current ElevenLabs Premium subscriber, and I’ve been using ElevenReader daily for a while now—mainly to listen to PDFs, books, and articles while working. I’ve never needed anything fancy. Just smooth, uninterrupted playback. Now that’s gone.Out of nowhere, you rolled out a new pricing structure that makes ElevenReader its own paid service, even for users already paying for ElevenLabs Premium. Suddenly, I’m told I can only listen for two hours per week unless I upgrade again. That’s not a bonus plan. That’s a double paywall. While your announcement claims that “replays don’t count toward listening hours,” that’s not actually true. Even when I try to re-listen to content I already generated before this change, I get cut off. it stops after not even a minute, not two hours. So either the feature’s broken, or the messaging is misleading. Neither of those options is good. You also keep promoting “new features” GenFM episodes, and expanded library access—but those aren’t new. Those are basic features that used to be free before this pricing shift. Unlimited listening? used to be there. You didn’t add anything—you just locked existing features behind a subscription. Then there’s the whole “tons of free books” marketing angle. Sure, there are free books. However, the first one in the app is Melania Trump’s biography, which costs $35. And even if someone pays that, they only get two hours per week unless they pay again. That’s not “free library access.” That’s a paywall with more paywalls behind it.This entire update feels like a step backward. You’ve made the product worse for people who already supported you. You removed access, added restrictions, and then called it an upgrade. At the very least, ElevenReader should be included with ElevenLabs Premium. These aren’t two separate services—they’re built on the same platform. There’s no reason to make users pay twice to get the same experience they had a few weeks ago.Nothing about this model makes sense right now, and the app isn’t working as your documentation says it should.

We hear you, Jackcameronb. ElevenReader was free while it grew, and we know it’s tough to see it change. To keep improving it, a subscription is now needed, but we’ve added free hours weekly and flexible plans to make it easier to stay. We truly hope you’ll give it another shot.
you had to go and ruin it.

this app was free for a long time and it was an extremely valuable accessibility tool. now it’s paid, extremely expensive, and the plans are all garbage. I really thought I could rely on this. I’m so disappointed.
