Brickit helps you build new things with your old bricks.
1. Spread out your bricks and take a photo of them. The app will scan the photo, identifying and counting the details.
2. Decide what to build. Brickit suggests building ideas depending on what bricks you have. Choose from robots, kangaroos, X-Wings, and more!
3. Build your creations using our step-by-step instructions. The instructions are useful, but you don’t have to stick to them exclusively. We give you ideas, and you decide what to make of them.
4. Find any brick you want easily. Just choose a detail in our catalog, and the app will highlight it in your pile. The bricks you need in the instructions are highlighted in the steps where you need them.

This is quite a good app. Tho in my opinion the aI could use a little more training. Also if possible there should be a search function added so say if you have a set but lost the instructions you can search and find them and add them to your collection I know it kinda defeats the purpose of the scanning bit but I don’t think it would because of the mini models you guys have added. Also on a side note (I don’t know how you would do it but) if say the user took multiple photos on different angles of the same pile of pieces then the ai might have a better chance of getting the correct piece. Keep up the good work and keep training your ai till it hopefully never misses!

Damn this works great! a little rough around the edges & would love more builds (Maybe make a user creation filter and allow to find user creations to build)A lot of reviews talking about how it doesn’t work with duplo and the colours matching it’s not intended for thatGreat app does as intended
Brilliant Idea
RandyLokey
This is an brilliant idea for an app. Unfortunately the recognition is really poor which makes this app kinda pointless. At least I would replace the marketing video of taking a picture of a pile off bricks and then just start building as it is greatly misleading.A more realistic way of doing this would be to lay out all bricks and with a verification step add the pieces u actually own into a reliable database of all your bricks. Then access the resulting ideas library with only thing you actually have all bricks for. As en extra you could list stuff you are only a couple of bricks from.…sound less marketable? Well that’s the reality. Don’t sell a lie. Two stars for a great idea.
Brickit Pockets is out. Also, 2x more building ideas to explore from now on.
Pockets is a new way to create builds of any complexity, with your entire collection of bricks.
Scan any jumble of bricks, drop them into a numbered bag, and Brickit remembers exactly what’s inside. The more Pockets you craft, the more diverse are the ideas you can build.
Usual flow is still in place (we named it Quick Play), and Sets Rebuild function moved to the foreground, so you could easily rediscover what you already own.
And yes, we added LOTS of new building ideas. 2x more at least.
This release is… eerily big. We’re all excited and nervous. If something is broken for some reason, don’t hesitate to drop us a message. We’ll fix it as fast as possible.
