The ESLS virtual simulation is a required component to complete the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s ESLS eLearning Provider Course. This online course offers Continuing Education (CE) credits and is designed to enhance stroke recognition knowledge, which will boost the competencies of healthcare professionals who may not manage stroke patients on a regular basis. Developed in conjunction with The University of Miami’s Gordon Center for Simulation and Innovation in Medical Education and Laerdal Medical, this evidence-based course features virtual patient simulations that will help providers test their knowledge of early stroke recognition and initial management for patients with stroke.
