Invite a colleague to test your logic skills with a game of Queens.

Have some fun

There’s more to making connections than formal intro emails. With LinkedIn’s games, it’s about having a little fun together too. Play with word associations in Pinpoint, try your hand at trivia in Crossclimb or test your logic skills in Queens.

Filter out the filler

Tailor the app’s jobs suggestions by setting up filters and alerts. On the Jobs tab, open Preferences to only see jobs in your ideal industry, with a certain title, or that fit other criteria. You can also set full- or part-time work, the distance you’re willing to travel to the office and more. Then turn on job alerts from the job search page so you never miss a post.

Get a round-up of your connections’ professional milestones and successes in the app’s “Catch up” section.

Catch up with your connections

LinkedIn makes it easy to wish a former colleague a happy birthday or congratulate them on a new job: tap “Catch up” on the My Network tab. This is also a great place to stay up to date on companies that are hiring.

Join online workshops, seminars and other events to make more meaningful connections with others in your industry.

Join a professional community (or create your own)

Creating a professional community can help you connect with like-minded potential collaborators, mentors or employers. Or join one of the many existing LinkedIn Groups to build relationships with others interested in the same projects, ideas or industries as you.

Engage your audience

LinkedIn’s tools for creators can help you share your story, engage your network and gain insights into your audience. Get tips about making your posts stand out in the feed and learn how to host live events and discussions.
