Master your inbox
Expand your email-busting arsenal with Airmail.
When you’re trying to wade through an overflowing inbox, every click counts. Airmail 3 takes a familiar approach to viewing messages, but adds features that let you take control of your email instead of the other way around.
For example, even basic actions (like Send) offer other options you won’t find in most email clients (like Send and Archive). The app lets you quickly add messages directly to your favourite task- or project-management app (Things 3, OmniFocus, Trello and many more), or to its own to-do list.
Airmail also has a dedicated Unsubscribe button for newsletters, plus the ability to bounce messages from pesky spammers. And if you have a Gmail or Exchange account, you can schedule messages to send at a specific time, even if Airmail isn’t running.
Power users will have fun exploring the myriad options tucked away in the app’s menus and settings, but here are three features everyone should check out.

Catch a snooze
Can’t take action on an important email right away? Click the Snooze button (or press Command-D) to hide the message until later today, tomorrow or one of several other configurable options (like Saturday at 10am, after you’ve had your morning coffee). When the time comes, the email reappears at the top of your inbox. (To configure the options, go to Preferences > Snoozes.)
Find the right layout
Email may take over your workday, but it doesn’t have to take over your screen. You can hide everything but the message list and tuck that into a corner. (Choose which columns are visible under the View menu.) When it’s time to give your inbox your full attention, expand Airmail to a traditional, three-pane dashboard.
Sync your settings
Switching between multiple Apple devices throughout the day? Airmail will sync your preferences and accounts across your Mac, iPhone and iPad so you don’t have to manually configure each one. To set this up, go to Preferences > General.
