Part game and part colouring app, My Little Pony Colour By Magic opens with the Museum of Friendship looking a little worse for wear. The only way to fix it? Complete fun colouring challenges – featuring Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie – that restore the venerable institution to its rainbow-splashed glory.
What we love: The app offers hundreds of colouring pages, and you can even use glitter colours or the rainbow bucket to add extra sparkle to your masterpieces. Best of all, new images are added all the time, so you’ll never run out of My Little Pony magic.
Quick tip: The more you colour, the more rooms and features you can access. How about a stained glass window above the staircase? Or a statue in the garden? You can edit all of your museum renovations throughout the game – experiment with different colour and design combinations!
Meet the creator: Developers at Budge Studios playtest their apps with their own kids: “They don’t hold back and give us the most honest feedback,” says co-founder Michael Elman. “What surprised us was how imaginative kids can be – we just needed to build something that let them create their own stories, just like with the classic toys.”
