The SmartTeach® app by Teaching Strategies offers early childhood educators an easy and efficient way to quickly complete essential daily tasks on the fly, online, or offline. The SmartTeach app simplifies teaching, documentation, classroom management, and family engagement throughout the day, enabling teachers to make the most of every moment with easy-to-use tools right at their fingertips.
The SmartTeach app is accessible to Teachers and Administrators using Teaching Strategies products such as GOLD®, The Creative Curriculum® Cloud, Kickstart LiteracyTM, and Tadpoles®. Download SmartTeach by Teaching Strategies to access our new and improved features & functionality.

Teachers and administrators can now select an Expanded Roster view with larger child photos for quicker identification and sort the Roster by first name, last name, age, classroom, or homeroom in ascending or descending order to find children faster—especially during busy drop-off and pick-up times. For Tadpoles users, taking attendance is now streamlined with fewer taps, clearer language, and smarter default views to save time. Toilet-training documentation is simpler with the ability to record Toilet and Diaper checks together in one Daily Report entry. Documentation sharing with families is now fully aligned with the web and MyTeachingStrategies experience, and additional bug fixes improve messaging, documentation, media sharing, and overall app reliability.

For Tadpoles® users, Health Screenings are now available directly in the SmartTeach® mobile app! This release also introduces an adjustment to the staff “Move” attendance feature, and includes key UX and performance improvements. These updates help streamline classroom management, strengthen health and safety workflows, and enhance communication with families.

All SmartTeach® mobile app users can now share documentation with families directly from the app, benefit from improvements to messaging and documentation, and experience smoother performance thanks to bug fixes and overall enhancements.
Teachers and administrators using Tadpoles® and GOLD® can now share documentation to Daily Reports and directly with families, attach media only to student portfolios, and track pending media approvals. They can also track and submit medication records and other essential classroom data in the app, making classroom management more efficient and organized.
Customers with Creative Cloud for Preschool will have access to new Curriculum content.

Teachers using Kickstart Literacy™ can now seamlessly assess multiple children for a Skill Development Card in one flow.

Receive reminders for follow-up screenings at key milestones, aiding in progress monitoring and supporting the individualization process.
Access Mighty Minutes® or Intentional Teaching Experiences added as “Other Experiences” to the Individualized Child Plan to make individualization on the fly easy.

- Entry screener helps teachers identify where each child is developmentally.
- Entry Screener results feed Individualized Child Plans with specific Skill Development Cards based on what each child is working on “next.”
- Skill Development Cards offer support for foundational skills enabling more discrete observations during this period of rapid growth.
- Ongoing guided assessment questions after each Skill Development Card automatically feed preliminary levels in GOLD.
- Access our all-new Creative Curriculum for Infants & the Creative Curriculum for Toddlers for distinct age-targeted curriculum focused exclusively on infant and toddler development.
- Access Care Routine engagement strategies from My Day. Plan weekly care routines for children in Infant, Toddlers, and Twos Classrooms in Teach and see them in the app.

Share photos, videos, and other items in My Media across classrooms. Add or remove Class Tags to share files between classrooms and to easily tag children from separate classes on any piece of media. Then, use those media items to easily create documentation or share them with families.
Family Messaging just got easier. Check the status of your Family Messaging Invitations directly in the TS Teacher App. Start messaging families immediately or send families a reminder to join you on the TS Family app via your MyTeachingStrategies® web portal.
Additionally, this version includes minor UI enhancements, bug fixes, and improvements to messages and notifications.
