Privacy
Your social life is personal. With mmotion, you have a private, intentional, and controlled social mapping experience.
Private by Default: The app automatically logs significant places you visit into a personal, private "Location Vault" that only you can see.
Share with Intention: Sharing is a conscious choice, not an automatic broadcast. You decide which visits to share from your vault, with whom, and under which profile.
Control Your Identity: Create up to three distinct profiles to express different sides of yourself. You can choose which identity to attach to your activities.
Always In Control: Use "Private" mode to prevent your activity from being associated with any profile for sharing.
Exclusive Community: To ensure trusted interactions, all members must apply and be approved to join our vetted community.
People
Build meaningful connections grounded in shared, real-world experiences.
Curated Circles: To encourage more meaningful connections, you are limited to five friends per profile.
Connect with Confidence: See others' "willingness to connect" to avoid unwanted interactions and fear of rejection.
Find Your People: Discover others with similar interests by seeing who else has visited your favorite spots, from the local gym to a niche art gallery.
Start a Conversation: Once connected, you can message your new friends with a natural, built-in opener about the place you both visited.
Places
Your city is a map of stories. Turn your favorite businesses into the backdrop for your social life.
Your Personal Map: The app automatically logs visits to "significant locations" where you spend more than a few minutes, such as restaurants, bars, galleries, and gyms.
Trusted Recommendations: Recommendations come from a small circle of friends, making them more powerful than suggestions from strangers.
Discover New Spots: Every business has a dedicated "Place Page" with information, user reviews, and a list of "Recent Visitors" who have chosen to publicly share their visit.
Unlock Insider Perks: Businesses can offer special perks and loyalty offers that are only "unlocked" after you've visited their location.
