Karts, shells and item boxes! The legendary Mario Kart Tour puts you in the driver’s seat for full-throttle races against up to seven other players. Pick your favourite character from the game’s all-star line-up and speed, swerve and drift your way down the tracks. Here’s a quick tour around the game.
Race around the world
Mario Kart Tour may have started in Japan, but it’s taken racers on a whirlwind journey all over the globe. The game is full of courses in unexpected locations (ever raced underwater or inside a ninja house?), as well as urban racetracks that snake through the famous landmarks of New York, London, Singapore and more.
In these city-themed courses, you will be competing against sharply dressed characters in striking karts and gliders, all designed to reflect each location’s specific culture.
Luigi appears as a painter onboard a macaron-shaped kart on the Paris-themed course, while Daisy dons a traditional Thai dress and dashes through the streets of Bangkok in a Tuk-Tuk Kart. Choose carefully – you’ll need that perfect character-and-kart combo to take the chequered flag.
Make it about Mii
Want to see yourself neck and neck with Yoshi, Toad and Bowser? Create your own Mii character and enter them into races. You can customise a Mii that looks just like you on the Nintendo Account website, or use an existing one by entering your Mario Kart Tour Mii Number.
Make your character stand out by putting them in a Mii Racing Suit, such as the Cat suit that transforms you into a paw-sitivity adorable kitty and helps you scratch your way through the race.
Multiplayer mode: on
A little friendly competition is always welcome in Mario Kart Tour. Play with friends or others nearby, or in a standard race. Get together with your crew, pick your favourite characters or put your Mii characters in for a fast and fierce showdown.
