Get in shape without a gym

Want to get active, do more exercise and feel energised? Freeletics is the way to do it, from home, at the gym or anywhere you have time and space.

You can start doing body-weight exercises in the app right away. And while the occasional lack of motivation is inevitable, Freeletics has a number of features to keep you going.

Here are some starting points for what to try in the app.

Take part in challenges

Working out with others will spur you on and sometimes drive you to peak performance. You can find Freeletics challenges on the Community tab. Doing 20 burpees every day for a week won’t be ideal for everyone, however – so if none of the existing challenges appeal to you, create your own in the app.

Keep your challenges private, share them with your friends or publish them in Freeletics so everyone can get involved – it’s up to you.

Add variety to your workouts

The Freeletics Coach ensures you get a mix of exercises that are tailored to your needs, but every now and then it doesn’t hurt to add some variety to your routine with other exercises.

Visit the Coach tab and you’ll find out how to train all parts of your body. We recommend trying to complete the workout of the week to engage muscle groups you might not have thought of.

Follow members of the community

Freeletics has a community of sports enthusiasts who share their activities in the app. You can see when your friends complete another 10K run – even in the rain.

Pro tip: Find the most active members by tapping on the medal on the Community tab. Following them will increase the number of activities in your community feed, and possibly motivate you to lace up your trainers too.
