The kindhearted, soft-spoken star of Disney’s animated adventure Big Hero 6 returns in his own six-episode series, in which the gentle-giant robot sets out to improve the lives of his human neighbours – only to get caught up in appropriately big comic adventures.

Quick take: The series transports you back to the futuristic city of San Fransokyo, where Baymax’s well-intentioned, superheroic efforts don’t always go the way he’d hoped. In one episode, he helps an ailing coffee-shop owner by taking over her cafe, but his low-key barista style leads to a slow drip of customers. Equal parts charming and hilarious, Baymax is a feel-good show about making others feel great.
