What we love: Chaining sick combos. String together backflips, bar spins and tabletops to max out your score. And when you pull off a super-stunt like a tornado dash and nail a clutch landing for extra points, you’ll feel like a BMX virtuoso.

Quick tip: Have at least one trick in your repertoire that’s quick to pull off, like a can-can. These are great for boosting your combo chain when you have a split second left before you land a jump.

Meet the creator: A mountain-biking excursion to an old ski hill inspired the team at Sweden’s Illusion Labs to make Touchgrind BMX 3. During a downhill ride, studio co-founder Andreas Alptun crossed the finish line with a mysterious tyre track across his back – a feat worthy of the game’s over-the-top antics.
